BIOGRAPHY
Darlog was born on October 6 on some islands in Greece but actually grew up in California. He was the second child of Clark and Clarise Rayder. He has an older brother named Darles and he had another who passed away at his birth.
As a child, his grandfather told him stories about when he fought in the Second World War, stories that fascinated Darlog, together with this his father was one of the best detectives in the city, which made Darlog grow up with the teaching of his two heroes. He even got his grandfather to teach him to shoot a pistol, of course with a non-lethal replica and only with his supervision, however his grandfather would see the potential in Darlog.
When he reached the age of 14 he had a severe blow where his grandfather would die in an attempt to help in a terrorist attack. Due to this, he decided to enlist in the army but was denied due to his young age. Frustrated by this, he sought to take his anger out on something and enrolled in a boxing gym, this only worsened his frustration as the trainer was nothing more than an idiot and did not learn anything. Darlog's attitude was changing for the worse; misbehaving with his parents and even having constant fights between him and his older brother.
One of the few hobbies that helped him was mechanics, learning enough for his age, fixing motorcycle and car engines, however his bad mood and bad behavior would cause him to distance himself from his friends, to the point where only his best friend would stay with him.
He would find another hobby by playing sports outside of the usual, climbing, motocross and anything else that would give him some adrenaline. Years later he would make extreme sports his hobby.
One day he was on his way to an order when an old man asked him for help to move some boxes and other things. Darlog, very suspicious, accepted. As he moved the boxes, he realized that many of the things they had inside were things from the Second World War, but not only that, there were some things with logos that he undoubtedly recognized; It was the same logo that his grandfather had embroidered on one of his uniforms. After a couple of questions and a long talk, the old man told him that he had been a partner in the same squad as his grandfather, so Darlog excitedly asked him to train, refusing at first although after thinking about how dangerous the city was, decided to do it.
At first he only taught him some basic self defense but as he noticed the potential that Darlog presented, he even taught him how to use some weapons. After three years of training, Darlog's attitude and mentality improved, managing to control his anger, in addition to having a better relationship with his family and friends, also falling in love.
His life would go quite well until he suffered another great blow when his father was killed. Darlog would be too marked and hurt by that, returning to mistreat his relationships until finally tired of the crime and even with the disapproval of the old man and his mother, he decided to enlist again, exceeding the tests by far and counting on an appropriate age this time .
Due to his ability he would join special operations training where he would meet many of his "Family" for a time, especially when an opportunist would offer them the possibility of better training for "Special" missions in a team. of outstanding people.
The team would be made up of Aaron and Morgan of American descent; Annaisha and Hisao of Japanese descent, Anton of Russian descent, Chase of Australian descent and Evelyn of English descent.
It would last a while with the team with whom he would come to form a kind of "family" bond but at the same time he would discover that more than doing good, they were working as mercenaries, cooperating in some missions with Marc Spector (Later known as Moon Knight) even. Without getting the whole team to come to terms with fights between everyone, culminating in the death of Chase being assassinated by Antón and with the team disbanded, taking all different paths.
Tired and haunted by all the lives he had taken he was wandering from bar to bar when by chance he would run into Evelyn who would convince him again to do service, only this time as a secret service aide. So with that money he managed to pay the debts of his mother and even managed to recover his grandfather's house where he would settle to live, in addition to opening a mechanical workshop. It wouldn't take more than a few weeks for him to realize that the city had gotten worse since he'd left; the streets were full of constant crimes, in addition to the corruption that existed in all police forces and political positions, not to mention the constant war between mafias.
One night he was in his workshop, watching television, the only thing that the channels broadcast was news, news of everything that happened in his city; murders, robberies, missing people, gang wars. No matter how much he changed the channel, he did not find anything other than horrible things, the last straw was hearing a shot and the scream of a woman not far from his home. He finally got tired. He took part of his grandfather's old uniform, plus a few weapons from his time as a soldier, and went to hunting.
On the first night he stopped a fight between two gangs over a shipment of weapons that would have caused a small war, he had saved many lives.
It was then that he realized that the change should have been made in his city, not outside it. But that no longer mattered, now he had the skills and equipment to make a change. From that night on he adopted the code name that his grandfather once used and the same one that he used in his years as a soldier, he became The Shirer.
